According to sources and estimates within Serbian investigative institutions, Saric’s group earned about EUR 5bn from the drug trade. This money was invested not only in Serbia, but also in Montenegro and even some Western European countries, Blic states. “Part of the money was used to spread their network and influence, because they were cocaine suppliers for Western Europe as well,” the source added.
