Arrests made for Kosovo crimes

Police arrested nine people suspected of having committed crimes in Kosovo on May 14, 1999, B92’s sources said. Members of the Šakali paramilitary operation were arrested.

The group was led by Nebojša Minić, who himself was arrested in Argentina in 2005 under a warrant of the Hague Tribunal, but died shortly after the arrest.

According to B92’s sources, all of the arrested persons will appear before the investigative judge on Saturday morning.

The crimes were allegedly committed in the village of Ćuška near Peć.

There are a total of 26 persons suspected of committing the crimes.
