EULEX has placed Nazim Blaca under house arrest for one month, it was announced in Pristina last night. The ethnic Albanian, previously a member of the so-called Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) and the Kosovo Intelligence Agency (SHIK) was previously arrested and is facing charges related to murder, attempted murder and organized crime. "Political killer" under house arrest Blaca confessed to belonging to a group of SHIK executioners who allegedly committed political assassinations in Kosovo. SHIK was a secret agency controlled by Hasim Taci's Democratic Party of Kosovo, Blaca claimed. The EU mission, EULEX, said that Blaca gave a statement on Monday to its special prosecution.
