The Serbian police (MUP) officers in Nis confiscated five kilograms of heroin and detained two suspected drug traffickers on Wednesday. In a statement, MUP identified the suspects as Avdi Hajrula, 31, from Veliki Trnovac, and Mustava Latifi, 23, from Kumanovo, Macedonia. The drugs were found at the Nais toll gate in ten packages hidden in a BMW with Belgrade license plates, driven by Hajrula. Latifi was stopped and arrested in an Audi 6 with Macedonian license plates at the Doljevac gate, the statement said. The drugs were found at the Nais toll gate in ten packages hidden in a BMW with Belgrade license plates, driven by Hajrula.

Latifi was stopped and arrested in an Audi 6 with Macedonian license plates at the Doljevac gate, the statement said.

Both Hajrula and Latifi will be charged and taken to an investigative judge in Niš, MUP explained.
