The tires on some sixty passenger vehicles were destroyed last night in Novi Pazar, Tanjug news agency reports. Some cars had only one tire slashed, while others lost as many as three, leaving the owners with considerable material damage. The news agency report says that "it is believed" that the perpetrators are a group of youths who decided to express their arrogance in this, "extremely unusual manner". Meanwhile, police are working to determine the circumstances of the incidents, and are expected to issue an official statement.
