An unknown assailant has fired several shots at police officer Momcilo Biorac in Novi Pazar, according to local police HQ. Biorac was shot from behind, in the leg, and taken to Novi Pazar Health Center and later to the Casualty department at Kragujevac Clinical Center. Police officer wounded in Novi Pazar The police officer was off duty and on holiday at the time of the shooting. He was shot in the so-called Serb part of Novi Pazar at about 21:00 CET last night. Investigative Judge Camil Hubic said that shell casings had been found at the scene of the crime and that an investigation was under way.
