War Crimes Prosecutor Vladimir Vukcevic told daily Politika that he believes Ratko Mladic could find himself at the Hague Tribunal by the end of the year. Vukcevic said that "Belgrade is a possible hiding location" of the former Bosnian Serb general. "Belgrade good place to hide" The question of where Mladic and Goran Hadzic – the remaining two war crimes fugitives – are was most often asked as the prosecutor visited the European Parliament this week, says the newspaper. Vukcevic told a gathering dubbed, "Serbia and war crimes – justice for reconciliation", that none of those implementing the Action Plan know where the indictees are, but that it is realistic to expect that Mladic will be at the Hague by the end of 2009. The prosecutor told the daily that "Belgrade is a good place to hide, considering that Serbia's capital city is an urban jungle where Radovan Karadzic and members of organized crime groups hid before".
