Double murder in southern town

Two men were murdered this morning in their family home in the Bobiste neighborhood in Leskovac, in southern Serbia. The victims were indentified as Bogoljub Mitic, 70, and his son Jovan Mitic, 39. Double murder in southern town Local police say they have launched a manhunt in a bid to apprehend Dragan S., who they believe committed the crime. Unofficial reports suggest that the suspect climbed into the house through a window at around 02:30 CET Saturday, and started shooting from his pistol. But the two victims were killed in the front yard as they tried to escape, while Jovan Mitic's son Miroslav and wife Snezana managed to hide in a neighbor's house. Police believe that the motive for the crime could be jealousy, since the suspect's ex-wife Snezana married Miroslav two months ago.
