Nine vehicles damaged in K. Mitrovica
Nine vehicles have been damaged in three separate incidents in Kosovska Mitrovica today, says Kosovo Police Service (KPS) spokesman Besim Hoti.

Nine vehicles have been damaged in three separate incidents in Kosovska Mitrovica today, says Kosovo Police Service (KPS) spokesman Besim Hoti. The vehicles in question include seven civilian cars and one each from UNMIK and the KPS. Hoti told Beta that the three incidents that took place within a few hours of each other had further unsettled citizens in the northern part of the town, and that the police were endeavoring, with their help, to establish what had happened and help diffuse the situation. Nine vehicles damaged in K. Mitrovica Seven vehicles carrying Kosovo “KS” number plates were damaged at around 19:30 CET in the Bosnjacka Mahala council estate in northern Kosovska Mitrovica, said Hoti, adding that the police had found metal ball bearings there that had caused the damage. A KPS vehicle parked near a children’s clinic was also attacked, while at around 04:00 this morning a UN vehicle was damaged near the “Three Tower Blocks” district. Hoti does not believe that the incidents are ethnically motivated.

Hoti does not believe that the incidents are ethnically motivated.
