The Hague Tribunal will continue to monitor communication between Vojislav Seselj and his legal advisers over the next 30 days. Tribunal Secretary Hans Holthuis informed Seselj yesterday that the decision of September 29 to monitor his communication had been extended, as, in the meantime, the reasons the decision was initially taken had changed. Moreover, there were suspicions that Seselj was using his “privileged communication“ to tamper and even intimidate witnesses. He is entitled to appeal against the decision. The SRS leader is accused of war crimes against non-Serbs in Croatia, Vojvodina and Bosnia from 1991-93. The trial will continue next Tuesday, after protected prosecution witness VS-016 gave testimony behind closed doors on Tuesday and Wednesday.
