After Hague fugitive Zdravko Tolimir's arrest, Tribunal Chief Prosecutor Carla Del Ponte brought two bottles of wine to Belgrade. One had a photograph of Radovan Karadzic printed on its label, the other Ratko Mladic . “Del Ponte’s unusual present to Vukcevic” Belgrade Weekly Vreme states that Del Ponte arrived in Belgrade a day after Tolimir’s arrest in late May 2007 to meet with Serbian officials, including War Crimes Prosecutor Vladimir Vukcevic. "Now you just need to arrest these two, and our job is done, and we can drink them,” she told Vukcevic, handing him the two bottles of red wine, 2005 vintage, produced in Australia, where besides information about the producer and the photographs of Ratko Mladic and Radovan Karadzic, were a pair of key chains with the two’ fugitives’ faces. Vreme, which has printed the exclusive photos of these bottles, also reports that at one point after the arrest of Karadzic, Vukcevic wanted to send one bottle—the one with Karadzic’s picture—back to Del Ponte, who is now Swiss ambassador to Buenos Aires. However, he gave up on that idea, because the gifts should not be returned, the weekly writes. The two bottles will be opened, the weekly learns, once Ratko Mladic is arrested and extradited to The Hague. Red wine (Vreme)
