A former commercial tribunal judge and lawyer suspected of financial malpractice have been released from custody. Judge Elko Munjeza and lawyer Nemanja Jolovic, who were arrested on suspicion of financial malpractice during bankruptcy proceedings at the BIM Slavija company, were released from custody, according to Munjeza’s lawyer Zdenko Tomanovic. The prosecution believes that Munjez, who led the bankruptcy proceedings at BIM Slavija, and, Jolovic, were guilty of abuse of office. Prosecution spokesman Tomo Zoric said that the two were suspected of illegally transferring assets worth EUR 843,600 to the Yu Trade company during the bankruptcy proceedings.
