Unknown attackers set fire to the front door of senior New Serbia (NS) official in Leskovac last night. President of the local NS municipal board Slobodan Milosevic and his family were not injured, thanks to neighbors who rushed to put the fire out. New Serbia municipal leader attacked Milosevic told the Beta news agency that this act was linked to the decision by the party’s board members and councilors to leave the ruling coalition in Leskovac. “At the meeting, where we analyzed 100 days of the work of the local government, and which ended at about 23:00 CET, we made a decision to leave the ruling coalition because we were not satisfied with the results of its work. Maybe that decision was not to someone’s liking,” Milosevic surmised. NS has four councilors in the Leskovac assembly, without whom the ruling coalition made up of the Serb Radical Party, the Socialist Party of Serbia, the Democratic Party of Serbia and the Social Democratic Party, would no longer have a ruling majority.
