While on the run, Radovan Karadzic completed a bio-energetics course and gained a diploma in poisons, gold, and mine location. Karadzic completed the course in Belgrade, and offered his services to Belgrade surgeries, while he also visited conference throughout Serbia organized by the Association of Bio-Energeticists. Secret life of Dragan Dabic No-one he came into contact with him was aware of his true identity. The precise title Karadzic, aka Dragan Dabic, received from a school located within a private home in a Belgrade suburb was “General for Poisons, Gold, and Mine Location“. The school’s owner, Mina Minic, remembers how one day, Dabic/Karadzic brought a bouquet of flowers for his wife and asked to be taught by, as he put it, the maestro. From that day on, he spent days and nights in the man’s company, seeking to learn the trade. Minic is a former soldier and member of the Russian Academy of Science for Traditional Medicine, for whose membership he wanted to propose Dabic as his best student. The depth of their friendship is shown by the fact they began writing a book on alternative medicine together, while Minic says that Dabic only revealed any details of his background several months after they first met. Although the media has been delving into Karadzic’s private life for several days now, Minic claims that he never saw him with any woman, which was why he tried to introduce him to some of his female friend, mainly widows. None of the people who socialized with him on a daily basis ever managed to get to know him properly. Some of them got fairly close to, such as Minic himself, who wanted to give him part of his house in which to live permanently. Dragan Dabic (B92, archive)
