The Dutch ambassador to Belgrade says the best proof of Serbia’s complete cooperation with the Hague Tribunal would be the extradition of Ratko Mladic. Ron Van Dartel told Belgrade daily Vecernje Novosti that the arrest of Stojan Zupljanin was a step in the right direction “since the responsibility of everybody accused of war crimes should be looked into by the courts." "Mladic, best proof of cooperation" When asked if Holland would wait until the last fugitive was arrested and extradited to the Hague Tribunal before ratifying the Stabilization and Association Agreement (SAA), the ambassador said that it was up to the Dutch government to decide when to submit the SAA for ratification. However, it was the Dutch parliament that would ultimately determine whether to ratify the agreement or not, Novosti reported Van Dartel as saying.
