A group of armed men yesterday stopped an Economic Bank vehicle on the Gnjilane-Pristina road and stole EUR 300,000. This was confirmed Saturnday by the Kosovo police, KPS, in Pristina, Beta news agency says. Robbers take EUR 300,000 in Kosovo heist The robbers followed the bank's vehicle and shot at it, forcing the driver to stop. Police suspect that the bandits used two cars to stage the robbery, one of which has been confiscated. A statement by the KPS says that some bank employees are also suspected of involvement, and adds that "speedy arrests" in connection to the case are now expected.
