Macedonian police today said media reports about masked gunmen patrolling the border area with Kosovo were not true. The border police is vigilant along the border with Kosovo and there are "no serious indications so far" that something is happening there, spokesman Ivo Kotevski said in Skopje. Macedonia denies border gunmen report Yesterday, some Albanian language media in Pristina reported that local Albanians were armed and threatening against plans to demarcate the border in that area. Also Monday, Kosovo police, KPS, and KFOR, said that they had no information about the reported incidents. Their representatives added the troops did not come across the masked gunmen, although they patrol the area daily.

Yesterday, some Albanian language media in Priština reported that local Albanians were armed and threatening against plans to demarcate the border in that area.
