Mufti Muamer Zukorlic has failed to appear at the Special Court to testify in the trial of a Wahhabi group. Zukorlic received his summons to attend the trial without any objections. The trial chamber received unofficial information that the mufti had left Novi Pazar and was due to arrive at about 1100. Mufti Zukorlic fails to appear at Wahhabi trial If the mufti fails to appear by the end of the day, the trial chamber will decide whether to issue him another summons or a warrant for his arrest. The trial started an hour late with the testimony of a police office who had requested security measures in order to protect his identity, which the trial chamber agreed to. The officer testified that a gang of Wabbahists had attacked a group of police officers with automatic weapons fire. Belgrade Mufti Muhamed Jusufspahic was in attendance at the trial, observing from the public gallery.
