The investigation into the murder of Knjazevac Judge Dragisa Cvejic is still ongoing, Dusan Petrovic said. “The investigation continues, all the police work has not been finished yet, so I cannot give any information,” the Serbian Justice Minister said in Nis today. Investigation into judge murder case ongoing Petrovic said that every court and prosecution chief in Serbia was told last June to give reports to police daily on “all evaluations of security risks for all judicial officials.” “We are now analyzing the reports from the courts and prosecutor’s offices which were given to police and the police reactions,” Petrovic, DS, said. He said that he is completely convinced that all the decisions necessary can be made by the end of 2008, in order to establishing “a completely credible system of security for judicial officials.” “Of course, the system relies on people and equipment, but the foundation relies on security evaluations and the capabilities of the state to implement these evaluations in an adequate manner,” Petrovic was quoted. Judge Cvijic was killed in a bomb attack outside his family home in Knjazevac on March 21.
