Three suspects in the murder of judge Dragisa Cvejic have been detained for a 30-day period. The state prosecutor’s office stated that the three were arrested and then remanded in custody after being questioned in relation to Friday’s murder of Cvejic, the Knjazevac Municipal Court president. 3 suspects in judge murder case in custody Suspect identified as I.S. was arrested on the suspicion that he committed murder and caused grave public danger. Two others, identified as J.S. and C.E., were arrested on the suspicion of the illegal possession of firearms and explosive material. The prosecutor office stated that while it understands the great interest generated by the murder, "no further details can be released", adding that the prosecution will continue to inform the public of changes in the case as the investigation continues. The Association of Serbian Judges has called on all judges to honor the memory of Cvejic with a moment of silence in the courtroom today at noon. Cvejic, who was seriously injured and later succumbed to his wounds from a bomb blast in his yard, was laid to rest yesterday in Knjazevac.
