Serbian police (MUP) today confiscated 14 kilograms of heroin at the administrative line with Kosovo. A statement from the MUP said that a 40-year-old man, identified by his initials as N.K., was also arrested during the operation. Police seize 14 kilos of heroin at Kosovo line The suspected drug smuggler was transporting 14 packages of heroin in a car registered in Novi Pazar, the press release also said. The man will face charges of illegal production, possession and trafficking of narcotics. MUP's Belgrade, Kraljevo and Novi Pazar units worked together to seize the drugs and make the arrest near the town of Rudnica. The street value of the confiscated drugs is at some EUR 1mn, the MUP says.
