The Greek Ministry of Education suspended the nostrification of Serbian college diplomas following the discovery of false diplomas Greek students obtained in Serbia.

Rector of the Belgrade University Branko Kovačević was surprised at the decision of Greek officials, deeming it hasty and discomforting.

The University of Kragujevac issued a statement claiming that if bribery accusations proved genuine, all perpetrators should face the appropriate sentence.
