They confiscated 20 kilograms of marijuana on the Horgoš border crossing between Serbia and Hungary.

Horgoš Border Police commander Mladen Mrdalj told reporters that the drugs were packed in 38 packages and hidden in a Volkswagen car with Macedonian license plates.

The car was driven by a 45-year-old Macedonian citizen, identified with his initials as E.S.

The suspect was placed in 48-hour police custody and will be brought before an investigative judge, Mrdalj explained.
