Suspects in Galenika case questionedSource: B92
BELGRADE -- All eight suspects arrested on suspicion of abuses in Galenika pharmaceutical company were questioned last night, B92 has learned.
According to Organized Crime Prosecutor Miljko Radisavljević, all eight suspects presented their defense and the Organized Crime Prosecution will in the next 48 hours decide on the continuation of the criminal proceedings.
The eight suspects, including former Galenika Director Nenad Ognjenović, were arrested on Saturday morning.
Media have reported that during Ognjenović’s arrest the police discovered a bank contract according to which he deposited EUR 770,000. The account will be inspected on Monday.
The police also found evidence that his deputy Goran Orlić, who was also arrested, had deposited EUR 90,000 to a bank account and placed EUR 70,000 in Vojvođanska banka safe deposit box.
