Kosovo police (KPS) have confirmed that the president of the Managing Board of the Kosovo Privatization Agency has been murdered. Dino Asanaj died on Thursday afternoon from the injuries sustained when he was attacked in his house, located in Pristina's American Village neighborhood, a KPS spokesman said. Kosovo Privatization Agency chief murdered During the past weeks, Asanaj was mentioned in the context of accusations leveled against him by owners of two big companies - Pristina's Grand Hotel, and a poultry farm from Lipljan. They claimed that Asanaj demanded millions in order for their companies "not to be taken away", because they allegedly failed to fulfill contractual obligations toward the Privatization Agency.
