An anonymous source mentioned in Ratko Mladic’s diaries confirmed that he told Mladic who killed journalist Dada Vujasinovic. Politika found the man referred to in the diaries of the former military leader of Bosnian Serbs as “Zemljak”, and, “Krajisnik”. “Mladic was told who killed journalists” “I told the general who killed Dada Vujasinovic. It was during the war, there is no written record in existence. I even destroyed everything I had written down at the time for security reasons,” the source said. He agreed to speak for Belgrade daily Politika anonymously and confirmed the authenticity of Mladic’s diaries, this newspaper reported. According to this, the source was working at the time, for October 1994, in the Republic of Srpska security services and Mladic met with him on several occasions. “I remember that we received operative information that she (Vujasinovic) was killed by Goran Vukovic and Dusko Malovic. That is all I know,” he said. The man also claimed that he did not remember where he got the information from or who gave it to him, adding that there was no written confirmation of the information and that Mladic was the only person he told about it. Vujasinovic's 1994 death was for a long time officially considered a suicide. Goran Vukovic aka Majmun (Monkey) was a Belgrade gangster, while Dusko Malovic was a member of a RS police unit. Both were shot and killed in Belgrade later that same year.
