KFOR is concerned and angered because of the desecration of several tombs at the Serb Orthodox cemetery in a Kosovo village. The graves were vandalized this week in the Rabovce village, central Kosovo. KFOR condemns desecration of tombs KFOR Headquarters in Pristina stated on Wednesday that the NATO-led force in the province "severely condemns the desecration of any tombs, as this a sign of disrespect for the eternal peace of the deceased". "Such incidents jeopardize a productive and decent coexistence of the people in Kosovo," the statement reads. KFOR stressed that they will not tolerate any actions which jeopardize security in Kosovo. The inhabitants of Rabovac village reported the desecration of the tombs to Kosovo police, KPS, who searched the location and started an investigation. Kosovo Albanian authorities in Pristina, meanwhile, also condemned the incident.
