Former factory managers arrested

PARAĆIN -- Serbian police (MUP) arrested three former Srpska Fabrika Stakla (Serbian Glass Factory) managers last night.

The arrests took place in Paraćin, eastern Serbia, where the company is located.

The three are suspected of defrauding the company of a million euros, B92 has learned.

One of those arrested was until recently the factory's general director, it has emerged.

The suspects are currently held in the 48-hour police detention.

Police Director Milorad Veljović confirmed that the arrests took place overnight.
