Fifteen year-old D.M. was arrested after killing 20 year-old Stefan Nešić in Kuršumlija, Prokuplje District Court investigative judge Ljubomir Jovanović said.
The minor stabbed Nešić in the heart on Friday night, killing him instantly.
The murder was preceded by several days of conflicts between two groups of young people from Kuršumlija.
The two groups brawled on the street on Friday night after exchanging verbal barbs in a local café.
After the initial fight, some of them went in back of the town’s main post office and continued to fight, which is where Nešić was killed.
The suspect has been remanded into custody for a period of 30 days.
