Former Zemun Clan member Vladimir Jovanovic has been arrested in Italy on an Interpol warrant issued by Serbia. Jovanovic’s arrest in Italy was confirmed by Justice Ministry State Secretary Slobodan Homen. Ex-Zemun Clan member arrested in Italy Homen said that a warrant had been issued for his arrest after he fled the country after being sentenced to two years in prison for extortion. The state secretary said that the Justice Ministry would be seeking his extradition from Italy and this could happen in the next two months.
