The corpses of an elderly Serb couple have been found today in their home in the village of Kriljevo in the Kosovska Kamenica municipality in Kosovo. Municipal President Boban Jevtic told Beta that he had been notified of the discovery by the Kosovo Police Service (KPS) which has cordoned off the entrance to the village and launched an investigation. Elderly K. Serb couple found dead Jevtic said that Bogdan Stankovic, 77, and his wife, Stanica Stankovic, 74, had been murdered in their home. The Stankovices were the only Serbs left in Kriljevo, five kilometers away from the administrative line with Serbia, adjacent to the Medvedja municipality. KPS regional spokesman Ismet Hashani said that no signs of violence had been found on the bodies. "They were over 70 years old, we do not know their exact dates birth. They were found this morning by the police in their house, after the neighbors called and said that they had not seen them for several days,” Hashani told Tanjug. “Investigators together with an international prosecutor are at the scene, and we expect the bodies to be transferred to Pristina for an autopsy to be performed,” he added.

Jevtić said that Bogdan Stanković, 77, and his wife, Stanica Stanković, 74, had been murdered in their home.

The Stankovićes were the only Serbs left in Kriljevo, five kilometers away from the administrative line with Serbia, adjacent to the Medveđa municipality.

KPS regional spokesman Ismet Hashani said that no signs of violence had been found on the bodies.

"They were over 70 years old, we do not know their exact dates birth. They were found this morning by the police in their house, after the neighbors called and said that they had not seen them for several days,” Hashani told Tanjug.

“Investigators together with an international prosecutor are at the scene, and we expect the bodies to be transferred to Priština for an autopsy to be performed,” he added.
