Serbs attacked in Kosovo village

Two vehicles carrying Serbs came under attack when stones were thrown at them in the ethnic Albanian village of Suvi Do on Sunday. This was confirmed by the Kosovo police, KPS, who also told Tanjug that there were no injuries. Serbs attacked in Kosovo village Northern Kosovska Mitrovica police chief Milija Milosevic told the news agency that around 19:00 CET, Bratislav Kragovic, his wife and two children were first attacked as they were travelling in their car. A while later, a car belonging to Bodgan Denovic was also stoned. Denovic's wife was inside the vehicle at the time of the incident. Material damage was reported in both cases. On Monday, an ethnic Albanian's car was attacked in a similar manner nearby, again with no reported injuries. Suvi Do is located only a few kilometers from the divided town of Kosovska Mitrovica. Serbs in some 40 household live there completely surrounded by ethnic Albanians.

Northern Kosovska Mitrovica police chief Milija Milošević told the news agency that around 19:00 CET, Bratislav Kragović, his wife and two children were first attacked as they were travelling in their car.

A while later, a car belonging to Bodgan Denović was also stoned. Denović's wife was inside the vehicle at the time of the incident.

Material damage was reported in both cases.

On Monday, an ethnic Albanian's car was attacked in a similar manner nearby, again with no reported injuries.

Suvi Do is located only a few kilometers from the divided town of Kosovska Mitrovica. Serbs in some 40 household live there completely surrounded by ethnic Albanians.
