Police prevent smuggling of drugs
21 November 2009 | 08:33 | Source: Tanjug
BELGRADE -- Police have arrested four persons suspected smuggling five kilos of cocaine via DHL mail from South America to Serbia, Interior Minister Ivica Dačić said.

“Five kilos of cocaine, which were hidden in a DHL envelope sent from Paraguay, were seized in the raid,” Dačić told the Tanjug news agency, adding that the leader of the criminal group Nebojša Lukić and three more persons have been arrested.

Dačić added that the action was carried out in cooperation with members of the German police and customs department, adding that the arrests are further evidence of the country's resolve to root out crime and corruption.
