"Some chapters could be opened and closed in 2015"

Head of the negotiating team in Serbia's EU accession talks Tanja Miscevic stated on Tuesday that Serbia is "excellently prepared for the negotiations."

"Some chapters could be opened and closed in 2015"

"Whatever the political decision of EU member countries may be, we are preparing to ensure that all we do provides technical support to the entire process of the negotiations so that we could change the state here for our sake," Miscevic told the conference "Serbia on the path of European integration - the screening and after the screening."

She noted that the screening completed last week constitutes only the first stage in the membership talks and added that it has presented a clear image of Serbia today and its strategic steps in the future.

"This is the beginning of very serious work and Serbia expects help from the EU on the path," Miscevic said.
