Jahjaga will not take part in Belgrade gathering

Jahjaga was to attend a meeting of the European group of the Trilateral Commission that will be held from October 31 until November 2.

In early November, the media in Kosovo said she would travel to Belgrade on November 1 to attend the gathering organized by the European Commission.

Today, they reported that Jahjaga canceled the trip "due to the current situation in Kosovo and the impossibility of forming new institutions," and that the decision was made "after the conference's agenda, the level of participants, and protocol and organizational aspects have been analyzed."

Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vučić will attend, as will Transport Minister Zorana Mihajlović.

According to announcements, other participants will include former Italian Prime Minister Mario Monti, Goldman-Sachs chairman Peter Sutherland, and Belgian central bank governor Luc Coene.
