Vucic: I will not attend Pride Parade, it is my choice

“I respect the constitutional obligations of the state and it is my obligation to guarantee safety and security to all citizens. It is my democratic right to choose not to take part in the Pride Parade and I do not have the slightest intention of attending it,” Vucic told at a press conference.

“I cannot take a leisurely walk on Sunday, I have other business than walking, and I would not attend the Parade even if I had nothing better to do. That is my choice. It is my choice to decide whether to go out with my children on Sunday or pay a working visit to Tekija. This is my choice,” Vucic said.

He said that every day is a work day for him and that he will be working on Sunday just as always, as he is due to visit eastern Serbia which was recently hit by floods and conduct talks on the energy sector.
