Vučić, Swiss president on bilateral ties, OSCE chairmanship

Vučić informed Burkhalter about the results of the Belgrade-Priština dialogue and underlined that an agreement in the field of judiciary will soon be reached, a statement from his office said.

The joint chairmanship of the OSCE was also among the topics, and Burkhalter "underscored how important it was that the chairmanship be a success."

Burkhalter said that Swiss companies are demonstrating great interest in investing in Serbia, while Vučić said that, with the new laws, Serbia will create even better conditions for attracting foreign investments.

Vučić underlined the new Serbian government's intent to ensure that the laws needed for conducting reforms be passed in the parliament as soon as possible.

Burkhalter said that Switzerland will back Serbia's EU integration.

The talks "also addressed the cooperation of the two countries in resolving the crisis in Ukraine within the OSCE," the statement issued by Vučić's office said.

Both officials also attended the opening of the Swiss-Serbian Chamber of Commerce.
