BELGRADE Justice Minister Nikola Selakovic expect that the government will meet on Tuesday and send a proposal to the president to call early parliamentary elections. "Considering that both the prime minister and his first deputy are today in Brussels for the negotiations with representatives of institutions from Pristina, with EU mediation, I expect the session to happen during the day tomorrow," Selakovic told reporters on Monday. Government to send proposal to president The minister, an official of the ruling Progressives (SNS), also noted that if elections are to be held on March 16 the deadline for the president to schedule the voting is Wednesday, January 29. Commenting on SPO party leader Vuk Draskovic's readiness to be included in the SNS election list, Selakovic said that "everyone is welcome to discuss a possible joint participation in the election list of the Progressives."
