BELGRADE The Alliance of Independent Unions of Serbia (SSSS) has sent a letter to PM Ivica Dacic demanding "urgent replacement of Economy Minister Sasa Radulovic." The reason is the economic policy he is conducting, which the letter says was "destroying the remaining companies in Serbia." Trade unions want minister "urgently sacked" In the letter to the prime minister signed by the union association's president, Ljubisav Orbovic, Radulovic's resignation is requested also because he ignored and downgraded the interests of employees and citizens and acted against Serbia's economy and citizens. As another reason for this, the trade union listed ignoring the institution of social dialogue and violation of valid regulations in Serbia, primarily the legally regulated process of law drafting, adjusting and adoption. SSSS wants Radulovic to be dismissed as the minister of economy for his unacceptable interference in the authorities of other ministries, primarily the Ministry of Labour as the proponent of the fateful and unacceptable amendments to the Labor Law. "Citizens have had enough of instrumentalized incompetent ministers whose exclusiveness is causing damage to the economy and they have had enough of those who are simply looking out for their short-term personal goals and interests without any ideas or visions for development,"states the letter. Serbia needs competent and creative ministers who will prevent further degradation of the economy and who will fulfill their promises concerning work for companies and better life for citizens soon. "We need those who will restore hope to Serbia, who would restore jobs and dignity to workers, and markets, products and a future to companies," the most numerous trade union in Serbia said in the letter to Dacic.
