Quarter of Serbians "exposed to poverty risk"

Some 24.6 percent of Serbian citizens are exposed to the risk of becoming poor - those aged up to 18 being most at risk, the Beta news agency has reported.

  1. The thresholds of poverty are unrealistic, any single individual making less than 35,000 dinars a month should be considered poor. This amount barely covers food and housing costs for one individual.
