BELGRADE Aleksandar Vucic says it was "extremely important for the SNS to present to the Serbian people in 2014 a plan of action for the times ahead." The SNS leader and deputy prime minister added that he hoped Serbia "will continue its cooperation with Russia, China and the United Arab emirates next year while moving closer to the EU." Vucic: Serbia will be "closer to EU" in 2014 It is clear that the members of the SNS are the ones most responsible for the future of Serbia and its people, he wrote for the party bulletin, "Informator". "That is why I want us to come out with an actual plan, for the people to see clearly our vision and for us to explain who we intend to achieve it," he stressed. Vucic, who is also the highest ranked deputy prime minister, said 2013 was behind and that many jobs were started during the year, many difficult steps taken and Serbia moved from a standstill. "I wish to thank you for your support, work, persistence and to promise you that we will work even harder with each passing year," he noted. In terms of EU integration and cooperation with other countries, he hopes 2014 will bring Serbia closer to the EU and that the country will continue "its excellent cooperation" with Russia, China, the United Arab Emirates and many other countries. He believes many laws will be amended to attract more foreign investors. "Although 2013 has already been three times better than 2012, I expect the next year to be two to three times better than 2013 when it comes to the arrival of direct foreign investment," he pointed out.
