BRUSSELS EU High Representative Catherine Ashton has announced the next round of the talks between Belgrade and Pristina for December 5 in Brussels. In a statement on Tuesday, the EU official said she will "discuss with Serbia's Prime Minister Ivica Dacic and Kosovo's Prime Minister Hashim Thaci on Thursday the remaining issues concerning the implementation of the agreement on the normalization of relations from April 19." She stated that she was "pleased that the second round of the local elections in Kosovo, held on December 1, went smoothly," and again complimented the voters on their participation.
