BELGRADE President Tomislav Nikolic will be in Russia on Tuesday and Wednesday, where he will meet Russian President Vladimir Putin. Nikolic is also scheduled to take part in a Russian-Serbian investment conference in Moscow. Serbian president starts two-day visit to Russia Among other issues, the two presidents will talk about bilateral relations between Serbia and Russia, progress in construction works on the South Stream gas pipeline, Russian investments in Serbian Railways, existing and potential investments in Serbia, Serbian exports to Russia and the current situation in the world, the president's press office announced. This will be the fifth meeting between Nikolic and Putin since the Serbian president took office in May last year. In May this year, a declaration on strategic partnership between the two countries was signed in Sochi. During their last meeting which took place in Kiev in late July this year on the sidelines of the celebrations of 1025th anniversary of the baptism of Kievan Rus', Nikolic underscored that there were no open issues in relations between the two countries. The investment conference will be organized by the Serbian Chamber of Commerce (PKS) in cooperation with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation.
