EC to present annual progress reports

BRUSSELS The European Commission (EC) will officially present the annual reports "on progress of Serbia and other EU aspirants, Kosovo included," Tanjug reported. Head of the EU Delegation to Serbia Michael Davenport will deliver the text of the report on Serbia's progress to Serbian Prime Minister Ivica Dacic, and afterwards EU Enlargement Commissioner Stefan Fule will present the enlargement strategy before the Foreign Affairs Committee of the European Parliament. EC to present annual progress reports During the afternoon, Fule will address a press conference commenting on this year's reports. As Tanjug reported earlier after seeing the conclusions of the report on Serbia, the EC states that Serbia has made "a historic step in the relations with the EU and met the criteria for its accession talks to start in January 2014 at the latest." The EC particularly commended Belgrade's constructive approach in the normalization of relations with Pristina and the results in the implementation of the Brussels agreement. (file) Tanjug

During the afternoon, Fule will address a press conference commenting on this year's reports.

As Tanjug reported earlier after seeing the conclusions of the report on Serbia, the EC states that Serbia has made "a historic step in the relations with the EU and met the criteria for its accession talks to start in January 2014 at the latest."

The EC particularly commended Belgrade's constructive approach in the normalization of relations with Priština and the results in the implementation of the Brussels agreement.
