BELGRADE Miroslav Miskovic and his son Marko arrived at the Special Court on Tuesday, where a preliminary hearing against them, Milo Djuraskovic and 8 others resumed The hearing will continue on Friday after which the court is expected to schedule their trial. Preliminary hearing for Delta Holding owner The Chamber of the Special Court previously rejected the request of the defense of Miskovic and ten other defendants to delay the preliminary hearing, and it started on Monday. During this procedure, the court determines which facts are in dispute and which will be determined during the presenting of the evidence. After the preliminary hearing the court will schedule the start of the trial. Delta Holding owner Miroslav Miskovic was released from custody in July after his company paid EUR 12 million in bail money. His passport was temporarily seized and he was ordered not to leave his place of residence, and must report to the police once a month. The same measures apply to his son Marko, who was released from house arrest in August after he provided business premises worth EUR 3.3 million as collateral. Djuraskovic is under house arrest, while other defendants have been released pending the outcome of the trial. The group is suspected of misappropriating funds and assets of several Serbian road construction and maintenance enterprises in the period between 2005 and 2010, and causing losses to the companies and the state budget. The Chamber of the Special Court previously rejected the request of the defense of Mišković and ten other defendants to delay the preliminary hearing, and it started on Monday.

During this procedure, the court determines which facts are in dispute and which will be determined during the presenting of the evidence. After the preliminary hearing the court will schedule the start of the trial.

Delta Holding owner Miroslav Mišković was released from custody in July after his company paid EUR 12 million in bail money.
