BELGRADE Former coordinator of the Stability Pact for Southeastern Europe Erhard Busek says Serbia should not worry about the recent "non-paper." According to the document Germany and Britain sent to their EU partners, the normalization of relations between Belgrade and Pristina should be built into the framework for negotiations between Serbia and EU. Serbia "shouldn't worry about non-paper" Busek commented to say that this was "part of the normal diplomatic game" and that "should not cause concern." "I heard about the non-paper. These are the usual diplomatic games and nothing to worry about," Busek told reporters on the sidelines of an international conference on reconciliation, tolerance and human security in the Balkans. The Belgrade daily Vecernje Novosti recently reported that Germany drew up a list of demands that would be inserted into the negotiating framework of the EU for Serbia, and was in this supported by British officials. According to reports, it is demanded, among other things, that in addition to chapters 23 and 24, "chapter 35 on Kosovo" be immediately opened, and for these chapters to close last. Busek, however, says that there is "still plenty of time to find a solution for chapter 35." (FoNet, file) Tanjug
