BELGRADE Serbia welcomes the agreement between Russia and the U.S. on resolving the situation in Syria that has created an opportunity for a peaceful resolution. The deal should "lead to elimination of chemical weapons," the Serbian Foreign Ministry has said. The ministry hopes that the agreement reached will bring an end to the suffering of the Syrian people, with whom Serbia has fostered traditionally good relations.
