BELGRADE This Monday is sunny and hot in Serbia, with the highest temperatures expected to range from 31 to 36 degrees centigrade. In the afternoon, thunderstorms and local showers are forecast for southwestern parts of the country. Another heat wave peaks, cooler weather on Wednesday Serbia's meteorological authority, RHMZ, said that Monday will also be sunny and very warm in Belgrade, with temperatures reaching 35 degrees. Similar weather will persist on Tuesday, but after more thunderstorms and showers in the evening and overnight, Wednesday should be "somewhat cooler." The rest of the week will see fewer scattered showers, especially in northern and western parts of the country, while temperatures should range "around, or somewhat above" the average for the season.
