Nikolic and Dacic Urge Kosovo Serbs to Make Decision Fast Nikolic said they should not expect from the official Belgrade either support or any encouragement for possible boycott of the election, scheduled on 3 November, Tanjug agency reported. Nikolic also said the time was passing quickly and stressed “we would only dream tomorrow about what we failed to do today”. President of Serbian National Council, Milan Ivanovic, said that Serbs from the north of Kosovo would make a decision on the election in the next several days. “We heard clear stands of the Serbian state leadership and we concluded we should come up with a definitive stand shortly”, Ivanovic said and added that the election should be discussed with Serbs living in the south of Kosovo, too. The meeting was attended by the director of Office for Kosovo, Aleksandar Vulin, his Deputy, Krstimir Pantic, whereas the delegation of Serbs from the north of Kosovo consisted of the Mayor of Leposavic, Dragisa Vasic, Mayor of Kosovska Mitrovica, Dragisa Vlaskovic, Mayor of Zubin Potok Slavisa Ristic and Mayor of Zvecan, Dragisa Milojevic, the Head of Kosovska Mitrovica District, Radenko Nedeljkovic, as well as of the President of Serbian National Council in the north of Kosovo, Milan Ivanovic. He added that several days should pass before the municipal assemblies took a stand on the election. “Everyone alone will have to decide if they will accept the election or not, especially if the Republic of Kosovo is written on the ballot papers”, Milovic said.
