Meeting with Kosovo Serbs Began

The state leadership meeting with representatives of Serbs from northern Kosovo started today at around11:20a.m. in the Serbian Presidency building in Belgrade. The Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic, Prime Minister Ivica Dacic and Director of the Government Office for Kosovo, Aleksandar Vulin will talk to the presidents of four municipalities in northern Kosovo, who came to the Presidency around 10:45. Meeting with Kosovo Serbs Began The meeting is attended by heads of municipalities of Zubin Potok, Zvecan and Kosovska Mitrovica, Slavisa Ristic, Dragisa Milovic, Dragisa Vlaskovic, as well as the Mayor of Leposavic, Dragica Vasic and the President of the Serbian National Council, Milan Ivanovic. Besides Nikolic and Dacic the meeting is attended also by the Serbian President's advisor, Marko Djuric and the Deputy Director of the Government Office for Kosovo, Krstimir Pantic. the First Deputy Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic, was not listed to attend the meeting, although it was previously announced that he would be present. Issues referring to local elections in Kosovo, scheduled for 3rd of November, and the situation in Kosovo should be discussed in the meeting. The Session of the Assembly of the Community of Municipalities of Kosovo and Metohija, which was scheduled for today, was postponed to Friday, because of the departure of the heads of local governments to Belgrade.
